Scott C. Margenau, President

Businessman, marketing veteran and published author, Scott C. Margenau funded and founded ImageWorks Studio in 1995. His creative nature and 20 years’ experience in business, sales and marketing have enabled Scott to build ImageWorks with a “marketing first” focus to ensure that clients’ media not only looks good, but also effectively generates revenue and brand awareness. Scott is president of the company and oversees creative and marketing direction. Scott has been a featured speaker, a radio guest, and is often quoted and referenced in business, trade and other media, such as Create Magazine and The Washington Post, Channel 9 News and numerous online publications. Scott is currently at work on his new book, Outside Perception: Influencing How Customers View Your Brand, which is targeted for release in 2008. In his free time he enjoys golfing, cooking, boating and fishing.

Michael Delpierre, Managing Partner

Michael is a sales and marketing veteran in the technology community, with more than 10 years of experience in various sales, marketing and leadership roles for such companies as UUNET/WorldCom, Exodus, Cable & Wireless and Carlson Wagonlit/SatoTravel. He has delivered millions in revenue through multiple sales channels in the technology, consulting and government contracting sectors. At ImageWorks Michael is responsible for growing revenue, running day-to-day operations and managing the company’s explosive year-over-year organic growth. He holds a BS and an MBA in global management. Michael enjoys spending his free time with his two boys as well as playing golf and competitive bocce.

Rheanna Margenau, Senior Partner

Rheanna began her marketing career in the PR department of VH1 and later became the director of marketing for a small technology startup. These experiences combined to create her unique understanding of the marketing needs of large and small companies alike. Her work on the client side of marketing has given Rheanna an outside-looking-in perspective on customer needs, which has shaped her client-first approach to revamping the client and project management system at IWS. Rheanna graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a BA in communication/mass media and sociology. In her free time she enjoys cooking, learning about fine wine and spending time with her two young children.

Tiffany Josephs, Director of Brand Management

Tiffany Josephs has nearly a decade’s experience in helping others reach their professional and personal goals by providing both consulting and hands-on support. She worked as an operations manager for Keller Williams Realty, a local real estate firm. She then started her marketing-focused consulting work, in which she worked one-on-one with small-business owners to maximize their unique marketing goals. She takes a strength-based approach when working with people, customizing her communication style to each client’s needs. And when it comes to getting the job done, Tiffany always seeks to transform something strong into something superb. Tiffany holds a BA in organizational communication and enjoys spending her free time with her family, singing, traveling and reading.

How Corporate Identity, Branding, Design, Advertising and Marketing Have Changed in the new millennium:

Since the technology boom in the mid 1990's we have seen a shift in traditional advertising agencies, marketing agencies, PR firms and branding firms. In fact large agencies have downsized or gone out of business with the onslaught on "mini" ad agencies, design firms, marketing firms, consultants, and web design and development companies and agencies.

These new design and marketing companies brought New Age thinking, creative services, web strategies, cutting-edge graphic design and web design and creative and persuasive copywriting. Many of these firms and agencies however, lack the expertise in marketing to create, develop and design a brand or a branding campaign that makes an impact, initiates a sales and marketing process, and capitalized on lead generation by actually closing more sales.

How is this done? It's done by starting with a compelling marketing message, analyzing and creating a compelling marketing environment, across all platforms of marketing, advertising and branding. Doing so not only generates sales but increases closing ration, reduces time spent, maximizes return on investment.

Coffee Is for Closers!
The 1992 movie, "Glengarry Glen Ross", summed up the sales and marketing mentality of the time in two memorable quotes that still echo among sales people: "ABCs of sales - always be closing" and "Put down that coffee; coffee is for closers!"

Not anymore. Not today. Most companies use automated phone systems, which act as gatekeepers to weed out telemarketers. Most offices post "No Soliciting" signs. Fax numbers are much less frequently shared, and few decision makers have the time to sift through direct mail.

Two strategic shifts have occurred in "sales tectonics":

It's 2008. What Works? The first shift concerns the way people find information. Conventional methods such as direct mail, print ads and advertising, direct marketing, salespeople and trade shows still work, but they need to be reinforced with a powerful web brand. Most business-to-business and business-to-consumer searches for products and services are now done through search engines. To complicate things further, even if a company or product is discovered through traditional means, the next step, the "investigative" step, is almost always done via the Web.

ImageWorks Studio tested over 100 corporate Web sites, and very, very few successfully branded a professional look and feel, with a customer-centered message leading to intuitive navigation and calls to action to encourage prospect interaction.
