Cloud Private Server Hosting & CMS / Security Updating Package:

This type of hosting allows us to set up a server independently just for your company and allocate resources for your specific needs. Noting is shared…it is a private server. This is recommended for most companies and is the preferred hosting solution. The cost is significantly lower than a full "dedicated" server and does not require a fulltime System Administrator, but offers all the same benefits.

• CMS security updates and version updating –
  • All CMS’s (Content Management Systems) require numerous security and release updates throughout the year to run optimally and maintain security. (Your site may break or not work in certain browsers or secure settings without these updates) This can be quite time consuming, taking 1-2 hours per month on average, so the folks here at ImageWorks created this package to take care of this IT challenge. Updates are done in batches monthly or bi monthly pending the updates and any issues that may arise with said updates. Some updates will not be installed if they may cause your site to experience problems as deemed by our experts. (For example they may break a custom module, and not be recommended)

Installing your Web Site if we do not host:

We certainly prefer to host your site on our servers that are built for CMS systems like Drupal and WordPress. There are unique requirements and installing the CMS correctly takes an expert. It is NOT plug and play. When customers try to host their own CMS and databases it can result in major problems and wasted billable time to fix said problems. However we understand some security requirements and other situations may require you to host your site elsewhere. Here are the conditions we need to work with you to get your site properly installed. 

• Full, absolute, and working access to the server, database, and file system.
• A server suitable for hosting the system to be installed.
• A system we are comfortable supporting.  This means Linux, Apache, and MySQL.  Never Windows.
• We must be allowed to make configuration changes to the system.
• Problems with a 3rd party's server are not our responsibility.
